Very close to home is the Garraf Park where you can go on many excursions on foot, by bike, and on horseback. Do not miss the ruins of the Iberian village of Olèrdola.

We are halfway between Barcelona and Tarragona, which you can reach in 40 min.

At 15 minutes are the beaches of Sitges with their modernist houses, the Cau Ferrat Museum, and the Palau Maricel. Also, 15 minutes away is Vilanova i la Geltrú with its wide beaches, the Railroad Museum, and the Víctor Balaguer Museum.

An hour from home, you will find the monasteries of the Cistercian route: Poblet, Santes Creus, and Vallbona de les Monges.

Vilafranca del Penedès is the capital of the region, 5 minutes by car from the house. You can visit the wine museum, climb the bell tower of Santa Maria to watch the sunset, participate in the essays of “Castells” (human towers), and stroll through the Saturday morning market.
